How to hide a file or folder on windows computer without software in 2020

Do you want to hide a file, folder or a Confidential document on your PC? Are you the type that like keeping things secret? Have you tried to hide a certain picture or video from your wife or girlfriend? , Then if so, am going to show you how to hide any file or folder or application on windows computer i.e windows XP and above.

To start kindly follow me as we hide our files on our windows, stay tune and do the steps carefully.

1. Locate your file either on the Desktop or in file Explorer
2. Now right-click on the file, then from the pop up menu, select Properties

3.In the properties Menu, come down to attributes, there you will see READ ONLY and HIDDEN 

4.Click on Hidden  then click on apply to hide your file

5. If it is a folder, from the pop up menu, choose if to apply for only folder or sub-folders if you have folders in the Main folder.

Well done !!! now we finally hide our file or folder from being access by Guest users.

Now go back and check or look for your files, its no more visible....
