Good day guys, today is another day with something new to talk about on CBT, and as you all know, we as bloggers and web developers and content creators, we always want ways to get more traffics to our sites.In a nutshell, as the heading says, we are going to go through the simple steps to submit our sites or blogs to google news for get much more exposure to people around the world.
As a matter of fact, Google News has over 6 Billion users each months, and adding your site to Google News means something great. So to start, i made everything simple.... kindly follow it well to arrive at the solution. Thank you.
How to Add your site to Google News Procedures To follow
Steps 1: To add our site first go to Google News and sign in with your Gmail account for easy access and customization
Steps 2: From the homepage "Click on Add Publication" see it in the picture below
From the image above Add your site name and click save
Steps 3: After saving the New site name, wait a seconds for the google news form to appear, after it opens , it automatically goes to to General tab, Here fill in all the info needed by you concerning your site / blog
Steps 4 : In the General tab fill in the Basic information , Then in the category side, select which area your site is based on.
Then in the Website property URL This can be a URL-prefix property that includes only URLs with the specified prefix and protocol (https://example.com) or a domain property that includes all subdomains and multiple protocols (example.com).
Now in the Section Area Choose Feed, the reason being that we are going get our site post automatically publish on the Google News platform..
NOTE: Google News does not like sites with too much Graphics... i mean much images

Steps 5: Content labels
Add labels to areas of your site or your entire site to help Google classify your content. Labels include: opinion, user-generated, satire, press release, and blog. To enable content labels, you must first verify your URL and provide your publication’s country on the General tab.
Next Verify URL ownership ,All content associated with your publication in Google News must be from a verified domain. To do this, Click on + New content source and enter your Blog Address URL. after adding it, click on the verify to get your site verified automatically. But before doing this, make sure your site is added to search console by google.
Steps 6: Now in the images tab......... all you have to do is to add your Site logo and a wide banner so that it can be displayed on the Google News App
here are the recommended sites of the images needed

Steps 7: Now in the Ads column, set up your adsense account to receive payment from ads being displayed on your site.
Steps 8: Now in the Advance tab, here you can restrict certain parts of your post or pages from being showed on google news.
Finally, Check to see if you have input all the fields needed in the REVIEW tab, if all is ok, then Click on Publish for your site to be sent for review.
Then Testing your publication
Open the Google News app on your Android or iOS device and sign in with your Google Account. If you follow this publication you'll see it in your Favorites.
