1. HOW TO ADD YOUR DOMAIN WITH FACEBOOK
In order to add our Domain on Facebook permanently, we will have to add it to our Facebook Business Page first then there we can continue with the process….
Now we go https://business.facebook.com/ from here log in with your Facebook business account or better still create a new business account and use it there.
I already have my account so I just have to log in.
After logging, Click OnGo to Business Settings on your first page
Here it takes you to another page where you can modify your Business account, over here on the left side panel, scroll down and click on Brand Safety. Under it you will see, two options there, Domains or Block lists . Choose the Domains option and continue to the next page……..
Follow the Image below,
In the top-right Corner, click on Add
Now enter your Domain name and click on ADD DOMAIN…
Let’s move to the next page………
2. HOW TO VERIFY YOUR DOMAIN ON FACEBOOK
When we get here, there are three [3] main ways of verifying our domain and here are the methods:
i. Verify by using our accessing our DNS settings on our Domain host account
ii. Verify using an HTML code on our site or blog page
iii. And finally we can verify using a META TAG, this means using a code which we will place on our blog code, in order for it to be tracked and verify…….
Here am using the DNS verification method so this is what I have to do
I goto my host account and create a TXT record which is linked to my Facebook code
After that I clicked on Verify on the Facebook Business Pageand Boom!!! That is it…… my domain is verified with Facebook forever…
Now let’s move to:-
HOW TO USE IT WITHOUT ANY RESTRICTIONS.
There are many ways to use this verified domain on Facebook to avoid any future misconceptions, and to do this
I. Don’t use it to promote spam sites or else it will be block again..
ii. Post three 3 post pay day on Facebook
iii. Don’t use it or link it to vulnerable sites which violate the Norms of Facebook.
